Less than 99 days out from the State Election the opaque discussions in relation to the polluting Anglesea coal mine and plant continue. Some companies have however had the decency to rule themselves out. Who are those companies and who is still sitting on the fence?
Update on 8 September 2014:
Nine companies have seen fit to rule out interest in purchasing the redundant and grossly polluting Anglesea coal mine and power plant.
Others – including GDF Suez, Alinta Energy and ERM Power – have been silent.
We call on any company that may be interested to be transparent about that fact and to consult with the Surf Coast community about what it wants.
